Move of the Week
This is one of the many ways that I like to pass the De La Riva guard. It’s a tricky and innovative way to get around the infamous hook. In this technique it is very important to keep your base low while griping the belt. Also keeping lots of pressure on the guys belly with your fist to control him.
Always make sure not to back step too much to let their De La Riva hook leg extend through your legs to start attacking the back. Like always this is how we like to keep our opponents on their toes with our portland jiu jitsu.
