Mackenzie Dern Undefeated Pro Record 3-0
Mackenzie Dern has a perfect record in pro MMA. Mackenzie Dern Undefeated. Repeat after me.
Dern defeated Katherine Roy by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28) at Legacy Fighting Alliance 6 on Friday night in San Antonio TX. Dern holds a record of 3-0 as a pro MMA fighter.
Known for her insane matrix level Jiu Jitsu skills, Dern displayed a furious striking game that was markedly improved. Despite not being able to take down her opponent, she still won rounds based upon total strikes and aggressiveness. Mackenzie commented on her stand-up game:
“I’m happy I was able to win the three rounds standing up, basically […]I tried tons of times to get to the ground and I couldn’t.”
Mackenzie Dern Undefeated Record: Next Ronda Rousey?
I’m going to brag about Mata Leao’s Jiu Jitsu lineage for a second. The Godfather of our gym “Megaton” Dias is Mckenzie’s Dad. He is a Jiu Jitsu World Champion of Champions.
For the record, I am calling it now: Mckenzie Dern will be the next Ronda Rousey. What I mean by that is that we have a super-nova MMA starlet in the making, and she has not yet reached critical mass.
As I have said before, his daughter Mckenzie will soon be the most dominant female athlete in the UFC. Trust me, if that’s what she chooses to pursue her trajectory will be asteroidal. Like an asteroid, her impact into the sport will define an era and alter the landscape of women’s MMA.
That’s big talk on your little screen, I know. But trust me, I’m calling it now. Mackenzie is it.
The Weigh-In Is The Hardest Part:
Mackenzie Dern could not make the weigh in’s for 120 on time but made it hours after the scheduled time. Katherine took 20% of that money. If that upsets you somehow, deal with it! It was under 2 pounds.
