Mata Leao Combat Sports Celebrates it’s 10th Anniversary With Awesome Party: Food, Fun, and Games for the Community

On the Evening of Friday, June 29th; Mata Leao Will Be Having it’s Spectacular 10 Year Anniversary Party with Festivities open to the Portland Community.

We will be kicking off the evening at 6 pm with a killer open mat, where everyone can get some mat time in and roll for fun.

At 7 pm, there will begin the official belt ceremony in which members of the gym are promoted  for their progress in  Muay Thai and Jiu Jitsu.

Following the ceremony, there will be drinks, food, games, merriment, and a generally awesome fanfare for the whole family. I hear there’s rumors of a cornhole board, and kids generally find the pool noodles that we keep in the back and go full on Lord of the Flies LMAO those pool noodles tho

But seriously guys, this is a killer potluck and grill-out. We are going to be grilling up wings, hot-dogs, hamburgers, and other awesome vegetarian options. Come hungry and let’s BBQ IT UPPPP

One of the best things about this event is that we are introducing our new coaching lineup for the team, and also going to feature all new classes at Mata Leao. So, all around this BBQ BLOCK PARTY BANGER is going to be the most happening event on that day. Save the date, and let’s make some great memories!!
